শরিফ উদ্দিন আহমেদ বলেন ’আইভিএফ এই এলাকার দরিদ্র মানুষের ভাগ্য উন্নয়নে দেশ বিদেশের অনেকেই নিরলসভাবে কাজ করছেন। তারা বিভিন্নভাবে প্রতিনিয়ত আপনাদের সহযোগিতা করে যাচেছন। তবে, আপনাদের ভাগ্য উন্নয়নে আপনাদেরই স্বচেষ্ট হতে হবে। তিনি এ সময় একটি ঘোষণা দেন যে বিশিষ্ট জনস্বাস্থ্য ও নারী স্বাস্থ্য বিশেষজ্ঞ ডা. হালিদা হানুম আক্তার এর পরিচালনায় হাবিব-হোমায়রা ট্রেনিং সেন্টার এ আইভিএফ কর্ম এলাকার এসএসসি পাস মেয়ে ও ছেলেদের বিনা খরচে ৩মাস মেয়াদি কেয়ার গিভার প্রশিক্ষণ দেয়ার সুযোগ দিবে। এই প্রশিক্ষণ শেষে সরকারি বেসরকারি হাসপাতাল এ চাকরির সুযোগ পাবেন প্রশিক্ষণপ্রাপ্তরা। এছাড়াও, ব্যক্তিগত পর্যায়ে পক্ষাঘাতগ্রস্থ ব্যক্তিদের সেবা প্রদান করে স্বাবলম্বী হতে পারবেন।

A delegation of International Voluntary foundation- IVF led by its Honorable Chairman Mr. Aktar Hossain, paid a courtesy visit to the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Rajbari District, Ms. Sultana Akter (Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate) on May 22, 2025. The delegation were among IVF’s Legal Advisor Advocate Ahadul Islam Mia, IVF’s Coordinator Sharif Uddin Ahmed, and Dr. Halida Hanum Health Clinic Manager Mr. Saiful Islam Khokon.
The delegation briefed the Deputy Commissioner on IVF’s activities and its goals for the next five years. Chairman Aktar Hossain expressed hope for her cooperation and guidance in these efforts. Deputy Commissioner Sultana Akter praised IVF’s work and offered various suggestions for the development of the area.
International Voluntary Foundation-IVF distributed Eid food packs to more than 250 helpless and destitute families from 15 villages in 6 unions of Rajbari and Faridpur districts at the IVF office premises on March 29.

Shukur and other volunteers.
The food distribution program was coordinated by IVF Coordinator Sharif Uddin Ahmed.
Chief guest Mohammad Nazrul Islam said, ‘Many people from home and abroad are tirelessly cooperating to improve the fate of the poor people of IVF areas. However, you have to make your own efforts to improve your fate. You have to use both your hands. You have to use this cooperation that IVF has been providing you to improve your quality of life.
The food distribution program was financially supported by Dr. Halida Akhter Hanum, a women and public health specialist, Major Humayun, an army member deployed in the Africa Mission, Md. Golam Muktadir, GM, Gaco Pharma, Rowshan Azad, a prominent businessman, Lutfor Rahman, a banker, Mohammad Babul Biswas, Duronta TV, and Hafiz Mansur Rahman from Australia, expatriates from America.
To ensure safe drinking water in rural areas of Basantapur Union of Rajbari district, the International Voluntary Foundation – IVF has recently established 15 Tube wells in the second phase with the association of AMAN and financial assistance by Muntada Aid in Africa. It is metioned that IVF established 7 tube wells in the first phase.
Mr. Mohammad Nazrul Islam Shawon, CEO of IVF and Director of Baraka Specialized Hospital, inspected a tube well installed at Majlispur Primary School and officially inaugurated the second phase of IVF’s safe and drinkable water supply program.
Mr. Md. Abdus Salam Sheikh, local president of IVF, Mr. Abdus Shukur, headmaster of Majlispur Primary School, Mr. Sharif Uddin Ahmed, IVF coordinator, volunteers Md. Shukur, Md. Abdul Jabbar, local youth representatives and children of the school were also present at the time.
The installation of the tube wells was supported by the African donor organization Muntada Aid through the Association for Mass Advancement Network (AMAN).
The tube wells were installed in 2 primary schools, 1 high school, 2 Madrasas and Orphanages, 5 Eidgahs and graveyards and 2 Hindu and 3 Muslim poverty-stricken areas.
International Voluntary Foundation-IVF distributed winter clothes to more than 300 helpless and distressed families and children from two orphanages in 15 villages of 6 unions in Rajbari and Faridpur districts last Friday at the Madrasa courtyard adjacent to the IVF office.

IVF has felicitated Mr. Hafizur Rahman, a Bangladeshi immigrant in America and prominent financial statement, reporting, accounting expert, researcher, executive juris doctor, poet and well-wisher of International Voluntary Foundation-IVF. Discussions, reception and dinner party was organized in his honor at a luxurious restaurant in Dhaka on November 12. The program was chaired by S.M. Rasheduzzaman, chairman of development organization SWAB and director IVF while Professor Dr. Ruhul Amin, Vice-Chairman of Barakah Foundation, Md. Mujibur Rahman, senior advocate Supreme Court of Bangladesh, Md. Mosharraf Hossain, former Islami Bank officer were present as special guests. The dignitaries like IVF Director and Chairman of Aman Dr. Md. Abu Yusuf, IVF Director and Chairman of E-Palli Muhammad Ali, Green Bangla Foundation’s Chairman Kamruzzaman Mridha, Public Health Specialist Dr. Hamida Hanam Akhtar, Engineer Golam Farid Uddin Akhtar, prominent businessman Kazi Nazim Uddin Khadem, S.M. Mamtazul Islam, Kazi Arif Ahmed, Md. Guest of Honor Hafizur Rahman said in his speech that the whole world is ours. Wherever we live, we can reach to the people all over the world by our works. For this, one has to work with honesty, great devotion and deep concentration to achieve the goal. He also gave especial thanks to IVF for giving him this honor. He expressed his commitment to be associated with the activities of this organization by referring to his friendly relationship with the chairman of IVF, Akhtar Hossain.
It is mentioned that Hafizur Rahman published the translation of 30th chapter of holy Quran in poetic form in English language. And he has been continuing the translation works on other parts of the holy Quran.
