International Voluntary Foundation-IVF distributed Eid food packs to more than 250 helpless and destitute families from 15 villages in 6 unions of Rajbari and Faridpur districts at the IVF office premises on March 29.
Mr. Mohammad Nazrul Islam Shaon, Director of Barakah Specialist Hospital in Dhaka and CEO of IVF, was present as the chief guest at the food distribution program. The event was presided over by the President of the local branch of IVF, Mr. Md. Abdus Salam Sheikh. IVF Legal Advisor Advocate Md. Ahadul Islam Mia Ratan, Headmaster of Algazzali Academy Md. A. Hakim, General Secretary Md. Jalal Master, Md. Shukur Master, IVF volunteers Md. Musa Master, Md. Siddiq Molla, Md. Sohrab Sheikh, Md. Nurul Alam, Monira Begum, Sonali Begum, Md. Imlak, Md. Shukur and other volunteers.
The food distribution program was coordinated by IVF Coordinator Sharif Uddin Ahmed.
Chief guest Mohammad Nazrul Islam said, ‘Many people from home and abroad are tirelessly cooperating to improve the fate of the poor people of IVF areas. However, you have to make your own efforts to improve your fate. You have to use both your hands. You have to use this cooperation that IVF has been providing you to improve your quality of life.
