A. POVERTY ALLEVIATION

Activity-1: Income Generating Program: Under this program, the unemployed poor people are identified and give them income generating training & Financial Assistance to run small business like groceries, nurseries, cultivating vegetable, fish and firming dairy & poultry.

B. EDUCATION PROGRAM

Activity-1: Scholarship: IVF has been providing scholarship to the poor but meritorious students of the village in order to continue their education and make themselves valuable asset of the society.

Activity-2: Non-formal Education: IVF run non-formal education center for the poor and drop out children, in which they get proper care, quality early education, moral, skills and behavioral change education. Anyone can DONATE only USD150/month for running each non-formal education center as a SPONSOR.

C. HEALTH PROGRAM

Activity-1: Primary Health Care Service: Most of the villages, there are no facilities of health care for the women, children and the old people. IVF health care program will cover primary health problems of the villagers. Besides, health related awareness program will be run in order to keep the village people free from infectious and non-communicable diseases.

IVF has been operating the program since November 3, 2021. Here, a medicine specialized is giving his consultation to the patients once in a week. A patient gets opportunity to check up and telling their problem to the specialist doctor only for Tk. 50. The program has been covering for the 30,000 populations at the community level in adjacent 8 Unions in 3 Upozilas. Besides, 4 health workers have been giving door to door primary and family planning services to the villagers.

Available services: Provide health education including nutrition, family planning, pregnancy care & consultation, maternal & neonatal care, exclusive breastfeeding, immunizations, Infant nutrition, Old age people’s psychological & physical health care & nutrition and awareness program on water, sanitation & hygiene (WASH). Sell health commodities such as soap, sanitary napkins, and basic medicine.

B. Free service and medicine for ultra-poor: Each day few ultra-poor patients will get free medical services and medicine from the center.

D. OCCASIONAL EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

Activity-1: Old age assistance for the poor: Old people in the society falls victim of negligence more or less among the poor and rich family. The sufferings of old age complication of the poor people in a bagger description. To mitigate their sufferings IVF has been giving them financial assistance in monthly.

Activity-2: Festival assistance for the poor: The poor people of the country cannot enjoy their religious festival due to financial crisis. In this regards, IVF initiates to support these poor people to celebrate their festival like-

(1) In Eid ul Fitar food items, and

(2) In Eid ul Azha cow meat distribute among the Muslims.

(3) Food items distribute in the Puja for the Hindus.

(4) Covid-19 related/other calamity emergency assistance

Activity-3: Cloth distribution: In the winter season poor people suffer a lot due to lack of proper winter cloths. IVF distributes winter cloths especially blankets among the poor; collecting from various organizations.

Activity-4: Zakat Fund Management

IVF manages Zakat money. It seeks the people who also seek the proper utilization of their Zakat money. IVF selects poor people and give him/her a capital from Zakat to start a productive initiative become self-reliant.

E. WATER & SANITATION

IVF operates water and sanitation program among the poor community to ensure drinking pure water and hygiene sanitation.

F. REPLICATE IVF MODEL VILLAGE

Activity-1: Village Census: To identify the problems of a village, IVF conducts a village census of HATJOYPUR under Rajbari district and working to make as a model village. A data factsheet of the census has displayed at IVF’s website-‘www.ivf-bd.com’.
