International Voluntary Foundation-IVF distributed winter clothes to more than 300 helpless and distressed families and children from two orphanages in 15 villages of 6 unions in Rajbari and Faridpur districts last Friday at the Madrasa courtyard adjacent to the IVF office.
Mr. Mohammad Nazrul Islam Shaon, Director of Barakah Specialist Hospital in Dhaka and CEO of IVF, was present as the chief guest in the distribution program. The event was presided over by the President of the local branch of IVF, Mr. Md. Abdus Salam Sheikh while IVF legal advisor Advocate Md. Ahadul Islam Ratan, General Secretary Md. Jalal Master, IVF volunteers Md. Musa Master, Md. Abdus Sukur Master, Md. Siddique Mollah, Md. Sohrab Sheikh, Md. Nurul Alam, Monira Begum, Sonali Begum, Md. Imlak, Md. Shukur and other volunteers.
IVF Coordinator Sharif Uddin Ahmed coordinated the winter clothing distribution program.
Chief guest Mohammad Nazrul Islam said, ‘IVF is working tirelessly to improve the fate of the poor people in this area with the assistance of many benevolent people from home and abroad. They are constantly trying to help you in various ways. However, you have to make your own efforts to improve your fate. You have to use both your hands. You have to use this cooperation of IVF to improve your quality of life.
