IVF has felicitated Mr. Hafizur Rahman, a Bangladeshi immigrant in America and prominent financial statement, reporting, accounting expert, researcher, executive juris doctor, poet and well-wisher of International Voluntary Foundation-IVF. Discussions, reception and dinner party was organized in his honor at a luxurious restaurant in Dhaka on November 12. The program was chaired by S.M. Rasheduzzaman, chairman of development organization SWAB and director IVF while Professor Dr. Ruhul Amin, Vice-Chairman of Barakah Foundation, Md. Mujibur Rahman, senior advocate Supreme Court of Bangladesh, Md. Mosharraf Hossain, former Islami Bank officer were present as special guests. The dignitaries like IVF Director and Chairman of Aman Dr. Md. Abu Yusuf, IVF Director and Chairman of E-Palli Muhammad Ali, Green Bangla Foundation’s Chairman Kamruzzaman Mridha, Public Health Specialist Dr. Hamida Hanam Akhtar, Engineer Golam Farid Uddin Akhtar, prominent businessman Kazi Nazim Uddin Khadem, S.M. Mamtazul Islam, Kazi Arif Ahmed, Md. Khorshed Alam, Ruhul Amin Belal, writer-researcher Zurfikar Ali Bhutto, filmmaker Mirza Mofizur Rahman, journalist Imtiaz Ahmed and kith & kin of Hafizur Rahman were also present in the event.

The program was moderated by IVF CEO and Director of Barkah Specialist Hospital Mohammad Nazrul Islam Shawon. IVF Coordinator Sharif Uddin Ahmed supervised the overall arrangement.

Guest of Honor Hafizur Rahman said in his speech that the whole world is ours. Wherever we live, we can reach to the people all over the world by our works. For this, one has to work with honesty, great devotion and deep concentration to achieve the goal. He also gave especial thanks to IVF for giving him this honor. He expressed his commitment to be associated with the activities of this organization by referring to his friendly relationship with the chairman of IVF, Akhtar Hossain.

It is mentioned that Hafizur Rahman published the translation of 30^th chapter of holy Quran in poetic form in English language. And he has been continuing the translation  works on other parts of the holy Quran.

The then US Ambassador to Bangladesh HE Dan W Mozena and US Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission Director Ms. Janina Jaruzelski visited International Voluntary Foundation-IVF’s working area at Basantapur in Rajbari district on August 7, 2014. International Voluntary Foundation-IVF distributed food items to around 200 helpless and distressed Hindu families in 15 villages of 6 unions in Rajbari and Faridpur districts on the occasion of Happy Durga Puja at the IVF office premises adjacent to Basantpub Hat on October 11.

Mr. Mohammad Nazrul Islam Shawon, Director of Barakah Specialist Hospital in Dhaka and IVF CEO, was present as the chief guest in the distribution program. Author and folk cultural researcher Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, eminent businessman Md. Khorshed Alam, Ruhul Amin Belal were also present on the occasion as special guests. Presided over by president of IVF local branch Mr Md Abdus Salam Sheikh IVF general secretary Md Jalal Master, former Local public representative and IVF volunteer Md. Musa Master, Md Siddique Molla, Md Sohrab Sheikh,Md. Abdus Sukur master,  Md Rafiq, Md. Nurul Alam, Monira Begum, Md Shukur and other volunteers were also present. IVF coordinator Sharif Uddin Ahmed coordinated the Puja food distribution program.

Chief guest Mohammad Nazrul Islam said that many people from home and abroad are working tirelessly under the leadership of its chairman Mr. Akhtar Hossain to improve the fortunes of the poor people of this areas. They are constantly helping you in various ways. However, you have to work hard to improve your luck. You have to use both hands. This cooperation of IVF should be used to improve your quality of life.

Hafiz Mansoor Rahman, expatriate of Australia and Director IVF, Mr. SM Rasheduzzaman, chairman of SWAB Foundation and one of the directors of IVF, Pradeep Dey, expatriate of Qatar, prominent businessman Kamal Kundu and individuals expatriate in America gave financial support to the food distribution program.

International Voluntary Foundation-IVF distributed Qurbani meat and food items to more than two hundred helpless and distressed families in 15 villages of 6 unions in Rajbari and Faridpur districts on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Azha on 18 June at the IVF office premises in Basantapur Haat. Two cows were sacrificed and distributed among the needy.

Presided over by IVF local branch president Mr. Md. Abdus Salam Sheikh while IVF legal advisor Advocate Ahadul Islam Mia Ratan, IVF general secretary Md. Jalal Master, former local public representative and IVF volunteer Md. Musa Master, Md. Siddique Molla, Md. Sohrab Sheikh, Md. Saurabh Sheikh, engineer Md. Sajjad Hossain, village doctor Md. Nurul Alam, Monira Begum, Md. Shukur along with fifteen volunteers and eminent journalist Md. Imtiaz Ahmed were also present. IVF coordinator Sharif Uddin Ahmed coordinated the meat and food items distribution program.
